From my perspective said all the right things, "We know the right thing, lets do the right thing." That I can relate too as everyone is taught, or some how has an understanding or what is right and what is wrong. We just don't always take the time to put our selves into the other persons, government, or corporation's place to formulate a better picture or understanding of what is really happening around us
A group of people I interact with on a frequent basis has taught me this simple lesson latter in life, and then again my oldest daughter, who was about 11 at the time, reminded me of something that I will never be able to let go of. She asked me, " Mom, how many times did you wish someone, just anyone, would have been there for you?"
Tough lesson to learn from a kid. One that has become a goal of mine because another friend suggested I become whom I want to find. Can we convince the government, no parties, no politics, no financial considerations, but convince them to take a moment and think about those back home who could be squatting on Federal and State public lands if they (the Government) doesn't do the right thing just because its the right thing. That is why I vote. I know my expectations are childish.
But haven't we come far enough that the very lessons we teach our children on how to interact in this world have now come back in a global slap in the face. This isn't a game of Janga folks, pull another stick from the bottom or the middle and it will be GAME OVER. Only the clean up will be a lot longer than a game of 52 Card Pick Up. Whats it gonna be boys? Do the right thing?
